Our Story

S.E. Brown Co. was founded in 2004 by Scott Brown in Hockessin, DE.  Scott had a new vision for construction practices.  The company’s focus would be great communication, project planning, responsibly, and above all customer satisfaction.

In 2006, Scott’s younger brother, Sean, joined the company to manage field operations and grow our service area to include southern Chester County Pennsylvania.

Today S.E. Brown Co. services all Northern Delaware and Southern Chester County Pennsylvania and prides itself on its loyal and repeat customers who have welcomed the Brown family into, not only, their homes but their lives.  The company is known for its excellence in communication, craftsmanship, trustworthiness and personalized service.

Scott is the founder of S.E. Brown Co. and has served as president since 2004. He has steered the company with his vision on how a family run construction company should operate focusing on communication, integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction.For the past 13 years Sean has been delivering exceptional results for S.E. Brown Co. As Site Supervisor, Safety Manager, and Master Craftsman he oversees all onsite activities and is responsible for quality control and job site safety
